How to pass the time between AnimeNEXT and Otakon? ConnectiCon! This multi-fandom convention was a ton of fun when I attended in 2012 as what we in the aniblogging circuit refer to as a normie (someone actually free just to pay an entrance fee and enjoy a convention), but this year I decided to turn a vacation into a working vacation in order to bring Ani-Gamers readers a look into programming and general air of the con so that they might be encouraged to make the trip next year or celebrate, in simpatico, recollections of a shared con. After the break, you’ll find my tentative schedule for panel/workshop attendance that is, as always, just as subject to whim and fancy as it is to invitations out for drinks and food and general camaraderie.
