Lucky Star Anime Creators Reunite for “Wake Up Girls”
Project auditioning girls for anime tied to earthquake affected region
A bit of week in anime catch-up here. avex entertainment has announced that controversial anime director Yutaka “Yamakan” Yamamoto (Lucky Star episodes 1-4, Fractale) will be reuniting with Lucky Star writer Touko Machida and composer Satoru Kousaki on a new anime.
avex (To Love-Ru) and talent agency 81 Produce have been begun auditioning girls to be idols, featured in this new Wake Up Girls anime. The anime is expected to tie into the earthquake affected North Eastern region of Tohoku. Japan.
