Maybe a couple of you were still eying up Gainax’s newest hit series Gurren Lagann, unsure of if your money would be well-spent on the 27-episode mecha anime. Well, iTunes has got the deal for you! The first two episodes of Gurren Lagann are now available for free download on iTunes, and the next six currently available eps can be purchased for $1.99 each. (It’s $50.99 for a season pass)
Gurren Lagann, now airing on the SCI FI Channel, is a fantastic show, so you have absolutely no reason not to buy it for the low, low price of FREE. Plus, if you do the math, getting these two free episodes and buying the rest individually saves you $1.24 off of the $50.99 season pass. If, y’know, you’re really into deal-seeking… I guess.
