This Week in Ani-Gamers ~ 8.17-24.08

Hey guys. I hope you’re liking the new Ani-Gamers. Our blog format has allowed for much more streamlined publishing of articles, and our staff is working harder than ever to make this the best website for anime, manga, and video games. I’m definitely enjoying working with everybody here, so I hope our enthusiasm shows in our writing.

This week’s announced titles and release dates include Valkyria Chronicles on November 11th, a Fullmetal Alchemist sequel anime, Silent Hill: Homecoming for PC, Fallout 3 in October, and a short parody anime based on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. For those looking for new manga, Shueisha is providing an English version of Bakuman (from the creators of Death Note) absolutely for free on their site.

MitchyD and Uncle Yo also pulled through in the reviews department with Osamu Tezuka’s MW and the recent anime Kure-nai.

You’ll notice a couple of this week’s posts are missing. That is because, like Pigeonflu’s column, “Up for Download” (check out this week’s entry!), “This Week” will be streamlining so as to only focus on the big stories of the week. Check ’em out after the break.
