This Week in Ani-Gamers ~ 8.10.08

This week in Ani-Gamers saw the triumphant return of Kevin “Naitsu” Ortegano after being away for a month or two, and the introduction of two new staff members. Can you smell “rampant site growth”? MimixRose and MitchyD have joined the team, and Ani-Gamers is sure to be better for it.

We did a lot of expanding of our news section to include smaller, more specific stories like Japanese language classes at NYAF, life-size Gears of War guns, and even a New Yorker named “Wii.” However, there were still a couple big announcements, like Burnout Paradise‘s move to the Playstation Network and… get this… a joint EA-Suda51-Shinji Mikami (of ResEvil) survival horror game for all new-gen consoles. Talk about EA trying new things!

Finally, make sure you check out Pigeonflu’s GTAIV review, MimixRose’s Beauty Pop review (our first shojo review), and entries in our two columns: Up for Download and The Everygamer.
