Yes my friends, it’s here. After a couple days of hard coding work, I have finally completed the primary work on Ani-Gamers version 2.0. As you can see, we’ve got a brand spanking new layout, but there are a couple things that have gone on behind the scenes which you may not have noticed. Here’s the rundown on the big two-point-oh:
– New design, which includes a cleaner page layout, a redesigned banner, and a new drop-down menu
– New logo (pictured to the left)
– Domain name: www.anigamers.com
– Those damn expandable menus finally put to rest
– Blog has now become the homepage, though all non-news articles will still be on the main “.ms11” site.
– New email addresses (to be updated on the site shortly) with “@anigamers.com” endings
A big thanks goes out to the people at Google, since their Domain Name program (run through GoDaddy) and their fantastic Google Apps suite have helped immensely with improving things behind the scenes here at Ani-Gamers.
(Please Note: There will still be a couple problems here at Ani-Gamers as we get used to our new format. Expect a couple domain name problems, since the Google-Blogger-GoDaddy domain setup has some well-documented errors.)
